Why Vdar charges instead of pretending AI is free.

Vdar is not a static template library. Every application kit requires real analysis, generation, automation, and delivery work.

Every generation has a real cost.

A Vdar kit includes AI scoring, tailored resume content, a cover letter, an HR message, and supporting workflow steps. That is not the same as swapping text into a template. Each run uses compute, automation, quality checks, and product infrastructure.

Paid access protects output quality.

A free tier would attract people who generate endlessly without a real application goal. Vdar is built for serious job seekers who want better applications with less manual work. Pricing helps us serve that group properly instead of optimizing for noisy usage.

Self-funded means no fake economics.

Vdar is self-funded. There is no investor subsidy hiding the cost of each generation. Charging honestly lets us keep improving the engine, support the service, and avoid a bait-and-switch model where the useful features are locked later.

Scale may change what is possible.

If user volume makes generation costs cheaper and more predictable, we may introduce a lighter or cheaper entry point. But we will not promise a free plan before the economics support it. Empty promises are easy. Sustainable service is harder.

What the current plan is for.

Standard is the launch plan because it matches the current product: paste a role, get a complete application kit, and apply smarter without babysitting prompts. Start there, cancel anytime, and only keep paying if Vdar is genuinely saving you time.
