Two applications was a thin sample. One job could be an odd match, and then you had a single attempt left to decide whether Vdar was worth paying for monthly. Five applications lets you run a real spread — different roles, different companies, different seniority — and see whether the match scores and the generated documents hold up across all of them. The price went up by AU$2, which covers the extra compute. Every generation costs real money, and we would rather charge honestly than hand out output nobody would actually send.
